Tucked away, is an underrated but truly magical Gatlinburg elopement location, known as Spence Cabin. This Smoky Mountains elopement location is charactrized by it's moss covered rocky waterfront, historic structurs and wooded area, as well as it's cozy reception accomidations with a fireplace and dim historic lighting. If the sound of this appeals to you, a Spence Cabin elopement might just be perfect fit!

Where is Spence Cabin?
Spence Cabin is location just south of Gatlinburg and is a 25 minute drive from downtown. It is close to Laurel Falls, as well as a number of trail heads for those who love adventure and the outdoors. It is also a piece of Smoky Mountain history as it is located in the Elkmont Historic Distract, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
How to Get There for your Gatlinburg Elopement:
From Little River Road, turn onto Elkmont Road and continue to the campground intersection.
Keep left toward Little River Trail until the road turns into a one-way loop.
The Spence Cabin is located a short walk from the Little River trailhead.
Parking is available at the Little River trailhead and in a small gravel parking lot designated for the cabin.
Spence Cabin includes 9 reserved parking spaces that do not require a parking tag during facility rental. Any vehicles parked outside of the 9 reserved parking spaces will require a parking tag.

The cabin itself has four small meeting rooms, with the largest being 432 square feet featuring a fireplace. If you are looking to have your ceremony or reception inside the cabin, this is the room I recommend. However, most couples opt to be married on one of the rocky patios on the property with a charming stream and wooded backdrop. If you wish to be eloping to Gatlinburg, this could be the ideal fit for you.
